Flood relief operation in Candaba, Pampanga



October 16, 2011 - The Philippine Kho Association together with the Liatsan Family Association went to distribute relief goods to the flood victims in Candaba, Pampanga. 

Candaba is the lowest point of Central Luzon.  The recent typhoons Pedring and Quiel were the worst to hit Pampanga in the last four decades. 

The Liatsan Family Assocation was led by its president Mr. Rufino Kopio while the Philippine Kho Association was led by its vice president Mr. Pascual Kho.  The operation was done with the assistance of REACT Philippines, Inc. (Team CRS-REACT of the AFP) and escorted by the 1st Air Force Reserve Command of the Philippine Air Force.

The group prepared 1,500 set of relief packages that included medicine and basic food items and used plastic pails as containers.
