2012 1st Relief Operation at Rizal

August 26, 2012 - The Philippine Kho Association led by its president Pascual Kho went to distribute relief goods to the calamity area of Baranggay San Isidro, Rodriguez (Montalban), Rizal.  The calamity was caused by the heavy monsoon rains that hit the country and caused record level rain falls.

Instead of using plastic bags, that are thrown away as trash, the group used pails as containers for the goods. Tickets which were distributed to the residents the day before were exchanged for the pails which were then filled up with the relief items as they follow the distribution line.  The association distrubuted some 2000 sets of sardines, noodles, rice, bread, pasta, milk and alcohol. 

The group was composed of the officers of the Philippine Kho Association, the Ladies Group of the association and the Kho Youth League.  The group was joined again by members of REACT Philippines, Inc. (Team CRS-REACT of the AFP) and escorted by the 1st Air Force Reserve Command of the Philippine Air Force.
